By using, copying, transmitting, distributing or installing The Chess Eye, you agree to all of the terms of this License. If you do not agree to any of the terms of this License, then do not use, copy, transmit, distribute, or install The Chess Eye.

This is not free software. The Chess Eye program is shareware and you may test it 14 days for free. If you like The Chess Eye and want to use it unlimited please register.

The unmodified shareware version may be copied without changes and freely distributed as long as this happens without charging, or requesting donations, for any copies, however made, and without distributing such copies with other products of any kind, commercial or otherwise.

You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for any copies, however made, and from distributing such copies with other products of any kind, commercial or otherwise, without prior written permission from Jan Matthies Alexander Fleischer. We reserve the right to revoke the above distribution rights at any time, for any or no reason.

The Chess Eye, and all accompanying files, data and materials, are distributed AS IS and with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Due to the multiplicity of configurations however no warranty can be given on the function of the program. Liability for evtl. damage (e.g. data loss) is excluded, as far as these were not caused deliberately or by rough negligence.

This disclaimer of warranty constitutes an essential part of the agreement. In no event shall Jan Matthies and/or Alexander Fleischer or its affiliates and/or contractors be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever relating to the use of The Chess Eye, or your relationship with Jan Matthies / Alexander Fleischer.

The Chess Eye changes no files outside of the folder indicated during installation and does not change the Registry.
The program opens the standard browser for some functions and transmits data. This is the data that could be sent:
- updates / registration: Version number and internal subversion
- online / ranking: Used Name for registration, points and name player being logged in and registration number.
